A Board level retail leader with deep digital experience. I have a successful track record of delivering Omnichannel transformation, whilst driving growth and profits in the most challenging and competitive of retail markets. My passion is in devising winning Brand and Customer strategies, building and implementing the Solutions needed across Digital, Retail, Product, Marketing, IT and HR, aligning the whole organisation to deliver the Omnichannel P&L. I have a unique portfolio of experiences which underpin my expertise: Formulation of Brand & Customer strategy at Diageo and the John Lewis Partnership, making the case for investment in omnichannel e.g installing Click & Collect for jl.com in every Waitrose As Director eCommerce, running the E2E Digital P&L at Waitrose, launching new websites and apps, adding new Channels including Cellar, Pet and Garden to drive market beating growth (doubled size in 4 years), leading the team to win Internet Retailer of the Year Most recently at Boots, on the Board as Omnichannel Director, introducing Innovation and an agile approach to delivering customer facing digital assets, using real time data to personalise the brand experience. This has laid the foundations for omnichannel transformation with initiatives including a new boots.com website, app, ground breaking propositions in Beauty (Beautiful You) and Health (Health Coach), colleague apps and tablets which together with an in store parcel management solution have turned every store into a fulfilment centre for boots.com. I also gained a Global perspective on Digital, working as part of the WBA group to found a Global Digital Council, with a mandate to set out a plan to deliver global omnichannel transformation for WBA My Leadership approach is collaborative with a strong belief in people and team development - many of my former reports are themselves now Digital Leaders I am open to considering new leadership opportunities which build on my experiences to date
